San Juan 28 1979

The San Juan 28 is known to sail well in light air, yet has a sufficient sail selection and tuning options to sail well when the wind builds. The boat has a forgiving rig and powerful spade rudder that provides a satisfying sailing experience in a wide wind range. Temeraire is also a comfortable boat for cruising, the 6' 4' head room and clean below-deck layout offer a remarkably spacious interior for a boat this size.
When I bought the boat 3 years ago, it was restored over the previous 5 years by two meticulous owners, resulting in the cleanest example of a San Juan 28 in the Pacific Northwest. If you're interested in "classic plastic" and want a boat that's ready to sail, then this boat is for you. Bottom paint was done January 2018.
