Not only can you capture wide landscapes with excellent sharpness, you can get extremely close to subjects, enhancing foreground vs background perspective. Also ideal for architectural photography, and your only real choice for real estate. This is my all-time favourite lens but I changed to an incompatible camera, so it's time for it to find a new home where it can make more amazing photos.
